sarah wylie - they/she

Sarah Wylie feels like a humble guest in the practice of yoga, with great respect for its origins and lineage. They enjoy interweaving yoga philosophy into their asana classes and try to offer options that make class accessible to a range of bodies and abilities. She holds gratitude for the individuals that show up to practice yoga alongside her, emphasizing that it is the individual's practice first, she is merely there to offer up guidance and choices for them to decide what feels best on that day, in that precise moment, and in their unique body.

Sarah completed her 200 hour YTT in 2018 through True Love Yoga with Lauren Leduc. They were drawn to this training specifically for its emphasis on accessibility and trauma informed yoga. She wants her classes to facilitate self autonomy and self trust for its practitioners, allowing them time and space to tune into the sensations in their body and bring a gentle curiosity to their current experience. Sarah hopes that their classes can allow students to find access to a little more ease in their body, mind and spirit.

Sarah’s classes usually lean more towards yin, restorative, or gentle yoga, but also enjoy the meditative movement of a vinyasa class. She has attended a few Thai Yoga workshops and is very interested in furthering her knowledge in that avenue. Sarah is also certified in aerial yoga. The aerial hammock is a wonderful tool to foster curiosity, confidence, and play.
