Candice’s journey into yoga began as a student in college where she took a class credit and began practicing at home. She later found the importance of community, and began regularly attending studio classes. Becoming aware of her strength both physically and mentally, she began to grow, noticing a breakthrough in her relationship with herself and others. After struggling with bouts of anxiety and depression, she began to see that yoga and the art of mindfulness, was truly calling her back home to herself - both the asana practice of yoga, and delving deeper into the spiritual and philosophical practice of Buddhism and meditation.

Candice graduated from True Love’s 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2019, trained by Lauren Leduc in Vinyasa and Hatha style practices, with an emphasis in trauma informed yoga. Students can expect a safe healing space, where they can come back to their true authentic self through breathwork and mindfulness. Outside of yoga, you will find her offering reiki, playing music, creating art, giving back to community, and tending to her plants and two cats.
