Sally Urdang has been practicing yoga since age 10. She began a deeper connection with yoga some years ago, and now holds two 200-hour certifications, as well a 30-hour certification in Accessible Yoga. She teaches yoga to all abilities, including those who are bedridden. Her private clients are over 70 years of age, and she specializes in postural alignment, gait and balance. Sally is passionate in recreating the image of yoga- Yoga is for all. No matter the physical body, the practice of yoga is deeper, and helps facilitate a more well-rounded connection to the Self. Sally’s mentor and the founder of Accessible Yoga, Jivana Heymen, says “If you can breathe, you can do yoga”. Her daily readings are of the Yoga Sutras, which are incorporated into her classes. When not teaching, Sally spends time with her partner Luke and cats Ham & Cheese, gardens and ride mountain bikes.
